Solarium Studios – Terms and Conditions

General Studio Rules & Reminders

• Studio attendants have the right to perform the following duties:
o To check studio rooms during your booked session to ensure the room,
furniture, and props are being used properly.
o To check the rooms within the last ten minutes of the booked studio session to ensure the room is properly cleaned, and all items or furniture returned to their original places.
o To check studio rooms in response to unusually loud noises.
o To check studio rooms and/or halt studio sessions for suspected violations of studio rules.
o To check studio rooms and/or halt studio sessions for any reasonable safety concern.
• Our walls are not sound proofed. We respectfully ask that all noise be kept at a reasonable level, including any use of music. Excessive noise and repeated refusal to lower sound levels to a reasonable level will result in an immediate termination of the booked studio session.
• Music shall not have explicit content. If music is being played, use the radio-friendly version of any song containing explicit language or material.
• We reserve the right to request any intoxicated, obnoxious, or inappropriately rude persons to leave the premises, or to remove such persons if they refuse. This applies to all renters, their assistants and associates, any guests, and any persons on the premises for any reason.

Booking & Arrival

• Please arrive at least ten minutes before your booking start time.
• Check in with our attendant to receive Wi-Fi details, to learn the general layout of the studio, and learn the location of the changing rooms and restrooms.
• Rental time officially begins and ends at your exact booking rental period. Your rental time includes any setup, tear down, and cleaning time needed in the session.
• If you have a greater than normal amount of equipment or props for your session, we strongly suggest booking additional time.

• Bookings are only for the specific room rented.
• Tours of the rooms are on request, subject to the rooms being unused.
• If you want to shoot video content, please inform us directly prior to booking your studio time so we can do our best to accommodate.
• Overstaying your allotted time will result in an additional one-hour charge, at minimum.

Warnings & Safety

• To ensure the safety of everyone visiting Solarium Studios, surveillance cameras have been installed inside and outside of the building.
• Absolutely no adult or pornographic content may be shot or made at this studio.
• No smoking, vaping, or recreational drug use is permitted on studio premises.
• A fire extinguisher is located in the common area of the studio on the third floor.

Damage / Cleaning / Theft

• We will kindly request that you clean the room before you leave and will inspect the room prior to your leaving.
• All furniture must be returned to their original location.
• All studio props used during your session must be returned to their original place.
• All garbage should be properly disposed of.
• Do not step on the furniture.
• Do not track water or mud into the studio.
• Do not drag furniture when moving them.
• No open flames and no candles.
• No dry ice, sparklers, or fog/smoke machines.
• Anything that can leave a stain, such as food, beverages, or paint, must be pre- approved by the studio prior to use.
• Absolutely no confetti or glitter in the studio.
• Messier items, such as flower petals or feathers, will need to be pre-approved by the studio.
• Any damage to the studio and its furniture or props during your booking time will result in an additional charge to replace the damaged item “at replacement cost.”
• A cleaning fee will be charged if the room is not returned to its original and normal condition upon completion of your session.

Equipment Rental

• Studio assistants constantly check all equipment before and after the studio rental to
ensure all equipment is in good working order.
• If a piece of equipment fails during your booked studio time, and the failure is not
caused by abuse or misuse by the renter, or their guests or assistants, the renter will
be reimbursed for their charged equipment fee.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

• All bookings must be pre-paid in full.
• Solarium Studios will provide a full refund on a cancelled booking if notice of the cancellation is given at least seven days before the appointment.

• Any notice of cancellation received less than seven days of the reserved booking date will result in a fifty percent refund of the booking payment, or an off of studio credit at full value for a future booking within one year of the cancelled booking date.
• If an issue arises within 24 hours of your scheduled booking which would affect your booked studio time, please call or email us so we can do our best to accommodate you, if possible.
• If a renter receives a studio credit, each given studio credit can be applied only once. No rescheduling of a booking paid by studio credit is allowed. Cancellation of a booking paid by studio credit will be regarded as use of the credit.
• No-Shows will not receive studio credit.

Age Limitations & Minors

• Renters must be at least 22 years old, have a valid ID, and must personally be at the studio during the whole reserved studio time.
• Renters doing work with models must have and show a signed release by the model for the photography session before your booked session may begin.
• Minors must be supervised at all times.
• A parent or legal guardian of any model under the age of 18 must be present during the studio session.
• Solarium Studios reserves the right to halt, cancel, or revoke a booked studio session if the photographer or model(s) do not have a valid ID or cannot provide proof they have attained the age of majority.

Please respect all studio rules, terms, and guidelines. Please treat everyone in the studio with genuine respect. Failure to do either will result in termination of your booking and a
permanent ban from the studio.

Waiver & Release

• The Renter and Attendants’ use of the studio space and equipment is at the Renter and Attendant’s Own Risk.
• The Renter is responsible for any legal claims between the Renter and the Attendants that took place at the Studio if any issues may arise.
• The Studio has the right to ask the Renter to stop the photography session if the Studio observes any illegal activities, dangerous acts, pornographic, or negligent practices. The Renter and their Attendants will be asked to leave the premises immediately.

• The Renter and Attendants agree to release the Solarium Studios LLC, its agents, and employees, from any liability and legal actions from personal injury, property damage, or loss sustained by the Renter and Attendants directly or indirectly resulting from the Renter and Attendants activities or participation in the booking event.
• The Renter and Attendants further waive, as against the Solarium Studios LLC, its agents, and employees, all claims, recourse, and rights of action that the Renter and Attendants might have against the Solarium Studios LLC as a result of such personal injury, property damage or loss.
